A Lubbock Grand Jury indicted a man accused of printing counterfeit money. John DeLeon is charged with Forgery of a Government Financial Instrument and Counterfeiting.
According to the Secret Service, Deleon was arrested in May after he tried to spend $100 in counterfeit money. The Secret Service believes DeLeon printed counterfeit money after his fingerprints were linked to a printer that was confiscated in the arrest of another counterfeit suspect.
Deleon faces 2 to 10 years in prison for the 3rd Degree Felony of Forgery.
