You might think the economy is struggling, but plastic surgeons might disagree. More than 1,500,000 Americans went under the knife to improve their appearance in 2010. That's up nine percent from the year before. Some plastic surgeons predict 2011 is looking even better.
Dr. Richard Anderson said, "There was a little bit of a decrease when the recession first started, but in the last year and a half we've actually seen more people come in for cosmetic surgery."
Dr. Anderson says overall, facelifts were up 35 percent from 2009, which is the largest annual increase ever.
