What is Jeopardy? Lubbockite competes on popular game show

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -

A Lubbock native will appear on the long-running game show "Jeopardy" today. Jason Rhode is a Texas Tech graduate student in the Philosophy Department.

After applying online in 2009, he finally got the chance to appear on the show. We can't tell you how he did, or even show you video, but Rhode says it's an experience he'll never forget.

"The show is incredible to go on," he said. "Alex is great. It goes by super fast. It's like the fastest 22 minutes of your life."

To watch Rhode compete on "Jeopardy," tune in to KCBD Tuesday at 11:30 a.m.
