Lubbock Man Receives Maximum Sentence For Attacking Elderly Woman - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

A Lubbock man convicted of attacking an elderly Lubbock woman, received the maximum sentence in a district court on Tuesday.

Judge Cecil Puryear handed 38-year-old Jerry K. Jones a sentence of life in prison.

Last month, a jury found Jones guilty of aggravated robbery. Judge Puryear says he considered Jones' lengthy criminal history when making his decision.
