Technical Fee to be Added to Misdemeanor Offenses

The Lubbock City Council voted to add a $3 technical fee on misdemeanor offenses.

The Lubbock Police Department is already updating its computer system and this fee will now help the municipal court to do the same.

There is only one citation not subject to the new technical fee: parking tickets.
