Meeting will determine the cause of 2009 plane crash

The National Transportation and Safety Board is planning to meet in Washington, D.C. on Tuesday to determine the probable cause of a FedEx Cargo plane that crashed in Lubbock in 2009.

The Board believes that the plane may have been making an early approach to the runway but crashed short of the runway. Luckily no fatalities occurred from the accident, but the two pilots on the plane did suffer injuries when the cargo plane crashed.
