More than 1000 bikers hit Lubbock streets Saturday to raise awareness about motorcycle safety. The See Us, Save Us campaign asks only one thing of all drivers: drivers, pay attention.
Kick stands went up at 10:00 a.m. at the South Plains Mall parking lot. "We started this because we kept losing a lot of friends, and we didn't feel like there was enough awareness" says Molly Harris, a participant in the rally.
Deanna Jandrew said,"We want people to not only be careful riding their bikes but driving their cars and to watch out for each other."
Among the supporters was a father who lost his son in a crash and a woman who was told she wouldn't survive her bike accident.
