Motorcyclist loses life early Sunday morning

LUBBOCK,TX (KCBD) -

A Lubbock motorcyclist was involved in and overnight fatal accident. Police say Charles Kelly De La Fuente, 40, was heading east on 4th street around 2:20 a.m. Sunday when he swerved, struck a curb and then flipped his motorcycle. 

De La Fuente was rushed by ambulance to University Medical Center where he would die from his injuries. Police report states that De La Fuente wasn't wearing a helmet at the time of the accident.
