LUBBOCK,TX (KCBD) -
A 23-year-old Lubbock man is behind bars Sunday night for firing a gun into the air outside a Lubbock night club.
Police say a fight broke out in the parking lot of Club Luxor, 2211 Marsha Sharp Freeway, around 2:15 Sunday morning. When police arrived at the scene, Steve Johnson fired several shots into the air and at the ground.
Police say they had to taze Johnson to get the weapon out of his possession. Johnson is facing charges of unlawfully carrying a weapon and discharge of a firearm.
