Lubbock PD Just hours after Lubbock police issued an arrest warrant for two murder suspects, one of them is taken into custody.
Police say witnesses identified 20-year-old Sylvester Garcia as the man who shot 50-year-old Frank Ramirez. Late Friday morning, Garcia was arraigned and charged with murder.
A total of three men are believed to be involved with last weekend's fatal shooting in the 1300 block of Itasca. Before his death, Frank Ramirez managed to shoot one of his suspected attackers. And as of Friday afternoon, 19-year-old Antonio Coronado remains in serious condition at University Medical Center.
The third man, 31-year old Timothy Garcia, is still at large. He is about five feet five inches tall and weighs 205 pounds. He was last seen with a mustache and goatee.
