Strayhorn Receives Conservative Award In Lubbock

State Comptroller Carole Keeton Strayhorn was the featured guest speaker during the Conservative Legacy Banquet at the Merket Alumni Center on Friday.

The event was hosted by the College Republicans of Texas Tech. The group honored Strayhorn as the outstanding conservative of 2003. She is the first recipient of the award.
