Driver runs over man near 64th & Boston

Lubbock Police continue to investigate an incident that sent one man to the hospital with life threatening injuries.

Officers say a man was hit by a car near 64th and Boston early Saturday morning. Details are vague, and more are expected once the report is complete. Sgt.. Jonathan Stewart did say that EMS transported the man to Covenant with critical injuries.

Sgt. Stewart also said the suspects drove off, but were later stopped. One person was arrested and charged with aggravated assault. 

During the investigation, there were also reports that shots had been fired but Sgt. Stewart said no one was shot.
