Texas Tech Club Baseball Going to World Series

For the first time in school history, the Texas Tech Club Baseball team is going to the NCBA World Series in Columbus, Georgia next week. Tech beat Texas to win the Gulf Coast North Conference and then drubbed Texas A&M 14-4 to win the regional and earn 1 of 8 spots in the World Series. Tech is 21-9 and is the #3 seed facing Iowa in the first round. Also in the field, Michigan, UMASS, Western Washington, UC-Santa Barbara, Florida State and East Carolina.

With no athletic budget or coaching staff, these young men who love the game, must raise funds themselves. If you'd like to donate to Tech club baseball, you can e-mail them directly at texastechclubbaseball@ttu.edu. For people that would like to send in donations: TTU Rec Sports, Attn: Club Baseball, P.O. Box 42151, Lubbock TX 79409.

They also have a Facebook Group that will provide updates and has all of this information on the page. Just Search for Texas Tech Club Baseball.
