Child Molester Facing Life in Prison - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

A Lubbock man accused of sexually assaulting a family member pleaded guilty to a judge Thursday in order to avoid a jury trial. 39-year-old Wilborn Brumit had previously confessed to molesting a family member when she was five, and having intercourse with her by the time she was 8. The family member is now 14-years-old and is expected to be in court next week when the sentencing phase begins.

Brumit faces 5 years to life in prison.
