Doctor Jerry Spencer is the target of a complaint by one of his co-workers.
That co-worker complained that Spencer kept a box of breast implants and an intrauterine device in plain view on his desk, but Spencer claims the items were for instructional purposes.
No disciplinary action has been taken against Dr. Spencer. However at this time, Spencer is no longer performing autopsies. Though, he is wrapping up some of his cases.
In the meantime, Lubbock County Commissioners will meet Friday morning to discuss the appointment of a medical examiner or an interim medical examiner.
