Noah Wright has lived on the streets of Lubbock for two and a half months. He says he has been down on his luck and relies on God to get him through. He says one of the things that keeps him going is the Salvation Army's "Survive the Night" program.

The Lubbock District Attorney has charged Michael Fralin, 23, with felony animal cruelty for a September 2 incident during which police say the Lubbock man shot his pit bull in the head with a shotgun.
