Chanze Lamount Pringler, 25, was sentenced Thursday by U.S. District Judge Sam R. Cummings to 405 months in federal prison, following his conviction at trial in August 2011 on a charge of sex trafficking of a child.

The Salvation Army of Lubbock is preparing to serve a traditional Christmas dinner to an estimated 500 individuals in need from the Lubbock community. These individuals will receive a traditional Thanksgiving meal, plus extra dessert to go. Last year, The Salvation Army served 656 meals on Christmas.

Convicted murderer Mickey Patterson has been ordered to pay more than $10 million dollars to the relatives of his victim. Patterson was convicted in September in the murder of Kay Harrelson. He was also charged, but never tried in the murder of her friend, Peggy Merrimon.

A Slaton police officer, who pleaded guilty to receiving child pornography has been sentenced to 70 months in jail. Richard Lewis, 50, pleaded guilty to those charges back in September.
