The Make A Wish Foundation makes wishes comes true for kids facing a life threatening illness. Most of the time that wish means a trip to Disneyland, but 14 year-old Natalie Frazier had a much bigger plan for her wish. Diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma in 2000, Natalie wished to create and market her very own product.
How appropriate for Wishbone to answer the call. Since Natalie liked being creative in the kitchen, Wishbone invited Natalie to spend a week in their lab to create her very own salad dressing. So now, "Natalie's Nalu," as it is called, is a blend of raspberry and guava vinaigrette dressing which reflects her Hawaiian heritage. On the label it says, "Ma'a'la mea ola" which means cancer survivor. You see, Natalie is currently in remission and thrilled that 48,000 bottles of her limited edition salad dressing will be available through January 2004.
If you'd like to support Natalie's wish and try Natalie's Nalu Dressing, a free standing insert with a mail order form will be included in the October 6th issue of 48 million newspapers. To try Natalie's Nalu, you can ( click here ).
