Deadly Slaton Highway crash Wednesday morning

One man is dead after a crash on the Slaton Highway Wednesday morning.

Emergency crews responded about 7:30 a.m. to a section of the road near the Coors Distribution Plant.  Officials say Jack Mixon, 76, of Lubbock was driving west bound when his car veered into the median, flipped, and landed in the eastbound lane.
