Early Morning House Fire Likely Accidental - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

The Lubbock Fire Marshall's Office is investigating a housefire overnight near the Lubbock Country Club.

Fire crews responded to the home at 1606 Wabash around 3:45 Monday morning. There was no power to the house at the time of the fire, however it was occupied by a renter who spends a lot of time out of town.

Investigators are still looking into the cause of the fire, but don't believe arson is likely. Preliminary damage estimates fall between thirty and fifty thousand dollars.
