LUBBOCK,TX (KCBD) -
Stripes Convenience Stores celebrated the opening of its newest Lubbock location with a ribbon cutting event on Thursday. President and CEO of Stripes, Sam Susser, presented representatives from University Medical Center with a check to the local Children's Miracle Network on behalf of the store's local fundraising events this year.
"We have a long term partnership with Children's Miracle Network. This was a record donation this year and we hope to make it grow next year and beyond," Sussuer said.
The latest fundraising campaign broke previous records with an 85% increase in the amount collected in Lubbock. The total this year for CMN was more than $29,000.
