Victim of House fire Still Missing

What began as a house fire, has now become a medical emergency. 68-year-old Ronald Paul Clarkin is still missing. He was last seen around noon Wednesday, about one hour before his house caught fire.

Kay Clarkin says she left her husband at this home on 5012 44th Street about noon on Wednesday. When she returned, the house was in flames and her husband was no where to be found.

The Clarkins' moved to Lubbock from Amarillo one month ago, so the family is searching Amarillo as well.

Again, Ronald Clarkin is 68-years old with thinning gray hair. He is six-feet-two inches tall with blue eyes and he wears horned-rimmed glasses. Mr. Clarkin is in need of medication, and firefighters say it is likely those prescriptions burned in the fire.

If you have any information on his whereabouts, call the Lubbock Fire Marshal's office at 775-2646 .
