Fatal Motorcycle Accident on County Road - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

An unexpected turn lead to the death of a 44 year-old motorcyclist Friday.

Kerry George of Hart, Texas was traveling north on County Road 1700 near the intersection of US 84 around 8:30 p.m.

DPS officials say George apparently did not realize the road curved and he hit a ditch. He flew off the motorcycle and landed on the road.

George was not wearing a helmet and was pronounced dead at the scene.
