One man injured in an rollover accident on the Slaton Highway in April died Thursday. A fund has been set up under "Vincent Segovia Benefit" fund at all Wells Fargo locations. The father of six from Slaton worked at Pyco Industries
Lt. Jon Caspell with Lubbock Police Department's Accident Investigation team said 44-year- old driver Adam Martinez was east bound on 84 leaving Lubbock when the vehicle flipped multiple times.
The crash ejected his passenger, 36-year-old Vincent Segovia, who was transported to University Medical Center with life threatening injuries. After the crash, police say the driver left the scene but was later found.
Lt. Caspell says Martinez could face a charge of failure to stop and render aid. Investigators say alcohol was a factor.
