LEWISTON, ID (KCBD) -
Playing in an elimination game at the NAIA World Series against the team that beat them 1-0 Wednesday night, the LCU bats were hot as they topped Lee, Tennessee 10-2 to put the Chaps in the Championship game.
Austin Stewart missed the cycle by a triple as he hit a single, double, and a monstrous 2-run homer, his first of the season. Stewart was 3-4 with 4RBI and 2 runs scored.
LCU trailed 2-0 but the Chaps scores 2 in the 4th, 4 in the 5th and 2 in the 6th to break it open.
LCU now advances to the winner take all NAIA Championship game 9pm tonight against Concordia out in Lewiston, Idaho.
