Cici's Pizza at 5102 60th Street is the picture of perfection this week, with zero critical violations, making them a Food for Thought Top Performer. John McDaniel has owned the restaurant for almost 11 years, and he says the recipe for success is the same, day in and day out. "Our standard is quality, service and cleanliness and we strive everyday and it's a part of our daily lifestyle. It just happens. It must happen in order to be successful in this business," says McDaniel.
Of course, a great staff helps. McDaniel says that's another key ingredient. "The management staff and the employees are what makes it. You can't do it yourself, you've got to have competent, qualified people to support you in your efforts or you'll never make it," says McDaniel.
McDaniel says the common goal among all the employees is to keep their customers happy, and coming back for more. "I expect them to walk in the door to a clean sparkling restaurant, quality hot fresh food on the buffet and serve them with quality service."
The other top performer this week is Burger House at 5107 29th Drive. It's another restaurant boasting a perfect score with zero critical violations.
