Southwest Cancer Center Receives Harold P. Freeman Award

Texas Tech's Southwest Cancer Center is this year's recipient of the American Cancer Society Harold P. Freeman Award.

The facility was selected for its work with the community during a minority cancer awareness event last October.

Dr. Freeman is a former ACS President, who dedicated his career to providing care to underserviced communities.
