Two suspects were arrested Monday in connection with a Midland County homicide.
Stephen Craig Whitworth, 21, and Paul Curtis Lee, 24, have been charged with the murder of Christopher Aaron Easley, 25, and aggravated assault.
Midland 911 received a call at 6:27 a.m. Monday saying a woman covered in blood flagged down traffic on South County Road 1210 and said that she and her boyfriend were assaulted and that her boyfriend was dead.
The woman was transported to the Midland Memorial Hospital where she underwent surgery for multiple stab wounds and was listed in critical condition.
Authorities Say Easley was found face down behind a mesquite bush and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The investigation is ongoing.
