Fatal Train Collision in Hale Center Kills Three

The town of Hale Center is in shock after three residents died in a train accident.

Just after 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, an oncoming train hit a car as it was crossing the railroad tracks on 4th St.

Those killed in the collision are 71 year-old Jean Johnson, her 19 year-old grandaughter Shatearica Martin, and her 1 year-old great-grandaughter Danasia Johnson.
