Shooting Leaves One Man Dead

A murder in central Lubbock on Sunday leaves police searching for suspects.

Lubbock Police say that 39 year-old Ernesto Cabrera was shot and killed in the parking lot of 2136 50th St. just after 7:00 Sunday evening.

Police say the shooting involved people in two vehicles.

Police say the driver of a blue and white pickup truck fled westbound on 50th St. They do not know the make and model of the pickup, but are investigating the shooting.
