"Home for the Holidays" Applications Due

"Home for the Holidays" is sponsored by Southwest Airlines and Lubbock Senior Centers. It provides complimentary airline tickets to seniors so they can visit family and friends over the holidays.

Any Lubbock area resident 65 years of age or older is encouraged to apply. Applications can be picked up and returned to any of the senior centers listed:

  • Lubbock Senior Center -- 2001 19th Street -- (806) 767-2710
  • Copper Rawlings Center -- 213 40th Street -- (806) 767-2704
  • Mae Simmons Center -- 2004 Oak Avenue -- (806) 767-2708
  • Trejo Senior Center -- 3200 Amherst -- (806) 767-2705

Applications are due this Thursday. Recipients will be announced December 9th.
