Poison set to rock it out at the Lonestar Amphitheater

It's bound to be a rocking' night at the Lone star Amphitheater. Rock "n" roll group Poison is set to take stage Saturday evening.

Lead vocalist Brett Michaels was the winning contestant on NBC's Celebrity Apprentice. In a little more than a year, he's bounced back after suffering a brain hemorrage.

He tells KCBD NewsChannel11 he's excited to be back on the road. I'm so thankful to be here and in that moment I didn't think I'd be back on the road - no. You know something faith and family and feeling that passion drove me to get out there and continue doing it."

Michaels also says he's excited to be in Lubbock and is helping raise money for local diabetes associations.
