Update: Motorcyclist thrown from overpass is updated to serious condition

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - A motorcyclist that has been hospitalized has been updated to serious condition from critical condition.

Police say the driver of a Harley Davidson was headed south on Avenue Q Sunday night when he missed the curve on the I-27 access road and was thrown over the edge of the rail onto the road below.

His name has not been released.
