A Lubbock couple and their two small children are doing ok after their car hit a moose in Minnesota.
The Minnesota State Patrol says 30-year-old Paul McRorey was driving on Highway 10 west of Hawley when his car struck the moose Sunday night.
Both McRorey and his wife, Angela, were flown to a Fargo, North Dakota hospital. Paul McRorey was treated and released while his wife is in satisfactory condition. Their two children, ages three months and two years, were not hurt.
The animal died. Highway officials say the moose had to be put down at the scene.
