Firefighters called to house fire, Lubbock's southeast side

Firefighters have been called to the scene of a fire at 519 77th street.  KCBD NewsChannel 11 has confirmed that it was one house fire that spread to a second house.  Our reporter on the scene, Ann Wyatt Little, says there are no reports of injuries. 

The Red Cross is on the scene to help.  At least one family will be homeless as video shows the roof has collapsed on one home.  The extend of damage to a second home is not yet reported.

Wind gusts were in excess of 30 miles per hour and the temperature was officially recorded at 106 degrees at the time of the fire.
