A Lubbock man accused of participating in a child sex trafficking ring, Chanze Lamount Pringler, 25, pleaded not guilty Wednesday afternoon. He and his co-defendant, Megan Lee Norman, 19, were arrested back in March during a Lubbock Police sting operation. They're accused of coercing an underage girl into prostitution.
Prosecutors are asking that both be locked up without a chance to post bond. Among the many reasons prosecutors cite, court records say, there is a "serious risk defendant will flee" as well as, "safety of any other person and the community"
Pringler and Norman will be in court next week for the judge to decide if they can bond out of jail before trial.
