Saturday Bandit Pleads Guilty In Federal Court

The man believed to be the "Saturday Bandit" pleaded guilty to charges in Federal Court Friday.

Forty-two year-old Timothy Gould is already serving an eleven year sentence for bank robbery in Austin. But he is also accused of robbing three banks in Lubbock, and another in Amarillo.

Gould pleaded guilty to one count of armed robbery, and another count of using a firearm to commit a violent crime. He is set to go trial here in Lubbock on Monday.

Gould remains on close watch, following a failed suicide attempt at the Dickens County jail earlier this week.
