Lubbock bomb squad called out to Federal Building

The Lubbock Police, LSO bomb squads, EMS, and fire departments are on the scene at the George M. Mahon Federal Building. The multiple squads were called out around 10 a.m. because a suspicious package was reported on one of the loading docks at the building.

Streets surrounding the Federal Building have been blocked off to traffic.


UPDATE:

Lubbock Police have given the "all clear" at the George M. Mahon federal building in downtown Lubbock. We will have more tonight on KCBD NewsChannel 11 @ 5 & 6.
