Lubbock man arrested for sexual assault of a child

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -

Lubbock police say another wanted sex offender is off the streets today.

Police arrested 49-year-old Edward Austin Monday night on multiple counts of aggravated sexual assault of a child.

Investigators say the victim was younger than 12 years old.

Austin is currently being held in the Lubbock County Jail on a $150,000 bond.
