Good news from Dallas, the Egyptian twins who were conojoined at the head but separated recently have improved so mush that they're off IV medication on Monday.
Two year-olds Mohamed and Ahmed Ibrahim have also been upgraded from serious to guarded condition at Children's Medical Center, where the surgery was done October 12th.
Dr. James Thomas says the twins have also been playing with a tambourine and with stuffed toys -- and they're laughing a lot. The skin graft on Mohamed's temple is apparently doing well for now, but doctors say he may need an additional graft.
Meanwhile, the boys are well into all kinds of therapy -- including physical, speech, occupational, and even play therapy.
