Citibus Steps Up to the Handicapped Challenge

A customer challenge issued to Citibus has prompted some changes when it comes to handicapped services.

Lubbock resident Allen Bryant requested Citibus General Manager John Wilson utilize Citibus services for a week, from the perspective of a handicapped passenger. And Tuesday, Wilson revealed his findings.

"I found out there are areas of the city that need more curbside ramps to be able to access the bus and there are placed in the city where drivers let us off that could be better selected for people with wheelchairs," said Wilson.

Citibus says they are looking into the changes.
