Science Spectrum to honor military families during holiday week

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -

Military families on break during the Fourth of July holiday week can take advantage of a new program at Science Spectrum that honors their service to the country.  

July 1st through July 10th, the Science Spectrum Museum and OMNI Theater will treat all Active Duty and Reserve Armed Forces personnel as "Museum Members".  

This membership program will entitle a family of up to five people to the same benefits as standard museum members.  Benefits include:

  • Free standard Museum admission for a family of five.
  • Discounted OMNI Theater movie tickets at the member rate of $6.00 for adults and children.
  • A 10% discount on most items in the Science Gift Shop.

To take advantage of this special Military Family Membership Program, all the Active Duty or Reserve Armed Forces person need do is present a current military photo I.D. card at the Science Spectrum admissions desk or gift shop.
