LUBBOCK,TX (KCBD) -
One person is in the hospital after an early a morning accident. The accident happened around 9:20 am along FM400 about two miles south of Slaton.
First responders say that 95 year-old Jimmy Jokeel, of Slaton, lost control of his truck where he overcorrected and flipped over on a nearby railroad track. The rollover trapped him under his vehicle and Aero Care was dispatched. He was taken to UMC with moderate injuries and was last reported to be in stable condition. Authorities believe that alcohol was not a factor.
