AUSTIN, TX (KCBD) -
Who really is looking out for taxpayers at the state capitol? A group called Texans for Fiscal Responsibility says it has the answer. The group says Representatives Jim Landtroop of Plainview and Charles Perry of Lubbock are both "taxpayer champions." Both got an A+.
Also getting high marks is state Representative John Frullo of Lubbock. TFR says he gets a B+, and they call him a "taxpayer advocate," which is its second highest rating.
But the group is not pleased with Lubbock's State Senator Robert Duncan. TFR gave him a failing grade.
