Sparks Ignite Old Grain Elevator in Idalou - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

Traffic in Idalou was backed up for a while Wednesday afternoon, as firefighters battled flames in an old grain elevator.

Investigators say the fire sparked just after three o'clock Wednesday , at Lee Manufacturing. The owner of the business says he hired a contractor to come in and dismantle the old grain elevator, and that's when sparks from a blow torch ignited the blaze.

Fortunately no one was injured.
