After 8 solid softball seasons at Coronado High School and Lubbock Christian University, Amanda Parsons thought her career was over, but next week she joins a US international squad to play 5 days in Amsterdam and 5 days in Paris.
"I didn't expect anything after LCU, but this opportunity came along and I jumped at it to give me one more chance to play." said Parsons, who leaves early next week for the Netherlands.
Parsons was the first ever recruit for LCU softball and helped the Lady Chaps win the NAIA National Championship in their inaugural season. After playing internationally, Parsons plans to still be involved in the game she loves, by becoming a coach.
