Nearly 65 women decked in pink and red hit the golf course Saturday "fore" a good cause. The women, decked in pink and red, played in the first ever Fore La Salud de Mujeres golf event. The day was dedicated to raising awareness about heart disease and breast cancer.
The ladies played a little bit of golf and listened to presentations about both diseases. Organizers say the name for the tournament is very appropriate since fore stands for a warning cry on the course.
The event was held at Stonegate Golf Course.
