Dorm Fire at Texas Tech - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

Fire crews were called to Texas Tech Friday afternoon after something in a dorm room caught on fire. The fire started on the sixth floor of the Chitwood dorm and was put out by the dorm's sprinkler system.

Fire officials say most of the damage was caused by water. About four floors suffered water damage. Officials are investigating the cause of the fire.
