Woman dies due to heat related health issues

Posted: Updated:

The recent temperatures over these past few weeks have caused some serious health risks and have even ended in one persons death.

Authorities say a 56-year-old woman went riding on an all-terrain vehicle near Forth Worth. Authorities believe that she crashed and became disoriented and then started walking in the woods and became dehydrated before she died.

The Wichita Falls Times Record News reported that her husband had reported her missing nearly four hours after she went riding Friday on the couple's property. Dallas has had 100-degree temperatures for at least 10 days in a row, including 108 degrees Saturday in parts of north Texas.
