Local Orthodontists Buy-Back Halloween Candy for a Good Cause

Orthodontists, Dr. Ed Wentz and Dr. Holly Reeves paid kids a dollar a pound for their sweets.

Dr. Wentz says the days following Halloween are usually the busiest time of the year for Orthodontists because of an increase in emergency calls. More than 50 pounds of treats were brought in Saturday.

The candy will be given to the South Plains Food Bank just in time for the Thanksgiving Holidays.
